A candlelight vigil in downtown Appleton last night gave people a chance to take a stance against white supremacists and the violence in Charlottesville, Virginia.
FAWN Fox Valley put together the event at City Park, and over 200 people were there.
Helen Boyd lives in Appleton and says a lot of people feel scared because of the violence in the environment.
The equal rights group started spreading the word about the vigil yesterday morning. There were similar vigils around the country yesterday.
