Greenville continues to lead the Fox Cities when it comes to the amount of material the community is recycling.
For the second year in a row the town tops the list as number one in the area for the amount recycled compared to garbage that goes into the landfill.
Administrator Joel Gregozeski credits the Outagamie County Recycling Center for helping people better understand what needs to be recycled.
The town finished number one with the highest diversion rate that’s the amount of recyclables compared to overall garbage and recycling tonnage for four of the last six years.
Combined Locks was number one the other other two years.
