Wisconsin property value has seen it’s highest increase since 2007, and a Hobart official says they have noticed the difference.
Village President Rich Heidel says the village’s value has reached an all-time high and says a lot of that is due to new growth.
Heidel says it’s because land is more limited. He says he doesn’t know for sure why that is, but the home-building industry has been peaking in the area.
A report has shown that 29 of the state’s 72 counties have not recovered from the recession.
Heidel says Brown County is not one of those 29 and is flourishing.
Most of those 29 counties are in southeast and central Wisconsin.
