A well-known restaurant and brew pub in Door County was destroyed by fire yesterday.
Shipwrecked is in Egg Harbor, and the fire broke out around 11 a.m.
Fire Chief Steve Schopf says the flames spread into a lot of different spots in the building. Parts of the landmark date back to 1882, and the building has been expanded over the years.
Nine firefighters were taken to hospitals as a precaution, because they were affected by the humid weather. Crews from around Door County helped, along with some from Kewaunee County.
