Temperatures dipped into the upper 40s last night, and they haven’t reached 90 in Appleton or Green Bay for 13 months.
Meteorologist Jeff Last is with the National Weather Service office in Green Bay. He says cool air from Canada is forcing its way into the area.
The last time Appleton and Green Bay didn’t have any 90-degree days was 13 years ago, in 2004.
On average, Appleton has eight 90-degree days each year. Green Bay has six. It hasn’t hit 90 in either city, since July 22 of last year.
