The overdue state budget is on its way to the full Legislature after the Joint Finance Committee wrapped up its work on the plan last night.
While Republicans say the plan makes the best use of the state’s limited resources, Democratic Representative Gordon Hintz says they failed on the biggest issue facing the state, a fix for transportation funding.
The budget now heads to the Assembly which is expected to vote on the overdue plan next week.
