Workers at U.S. Venture are putting together 500 Flood Buckets today for victims of Hurricane Harvey in Texas.
Spokesman Greg Vandenberg says their goal is to load 20 pallets and get supplies to Houston by early next week.
Vandenberg says the company has three oil terminals, one office and three warehouses in the Houston and south Texas area.
He says some of the warehouses were impacted but they’re back up and running. He says the office flooded but he’s glad everyone is safe.
The company is paying for all the supplies and shipping costs that are estimated at $40,000. The U.S. Venture/Schmidt Family Foundation is pledging $300,000.
