It can be easy to ignore the health risks of cancer, despite the many awareness efforts around the disease. Why? Because it is relatively invisible. Until it reduces our quality of life, we may not know we have it. We may even avoid medical treatment in hopes we can delay discovering the issue.
Dr Tait Fors, from the Wisconsin Institute of Urology, explains why early detection is so important, and shares some of the risk factors that could lead to a prostate cancer diagnosis.
