Worker’s compensation premium rates in the state dropped nearly 8-1/2 percent this month.
Mark Grapentine is with the Wisconsin Medical Society. He says that’s the biggest decline in almost a quarter century.
Grapentine says businesses will pay about $170 million less in premiums. Wisconsin already has the lowest worker’s compensation premiums in the Midwest.
