About 200 girls in middle school are at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in the Green Bay area today to learn about careers that they might not otherwise consider.
Ginelle Hussin of The Boldt Company will be at one of the stations. She says they’re teaching them how to do masonry work. She says they’re actually getting their hands dirty, working with stone and ceramic tile.
Hussin says it’s a chance for the students to learn about careers in STEM and non-traditional industries. She says some of the other areas are robotics and machining.
The technical college organizes the event.
