There was a grand opening celebration and dedication yesterday for a new affordable housing development in Grand Chute.
Debra Dillenberg is the executive director of the Appleton Housing Authority. She says the Grand View Townhomes project on Bluemound Drive cost $7 million.
Dillenberg says it’s for people at any economic level and it’s family friendly.She says there are two buildings with a total of 40 units.
Dillenberg says they also dedicated the project to former authority member Kathy Groat. She was also a longtime Outagamie County board member, and she died earlier this year.
