A 27 year old man is ok after falling 24 feet into a 74 foot tall silo containing corn silage. It happened yesterday evening around 6:15 p.m.
Fond du Lac County sheriff’s Sergeant Eric Hahlbach says Joshua Sabel told deputies he was climbing across the silo unloader when a cable broke. Sabel grabbed one of the cables and pulled himself onto a ledge and called 9-1-1.
The silo is at S & S Dairy on Schoenborn Rd. in the town of Calumet.
