Halloween is the scariest day of the year and Appleton has it’s share of hauntings.
Emily Rock is the curator of The History Museum at the Castle. She says one of the more famous stories is at the Stone Arch Brew Pub in the Between the Locks building. She says it’s been featured on national TV programs about ghosts.
Rock says people call the spirit Charlie. She says he has been known to move objects and break glasses.
Rock says another is in the Zuelke Building on College Avenue. She says people claim to see Irving Zuelke and hear him playing piano music late at night.
She says the area is full of urban legends and rumors of ghosts.
