Prosecutors believe the Appleton man who was killed during an attempted robbery in Oshkosh was the robber.
Eighteen-year-old Cashmiere Hill was shot at a home on Waugoo Avenue, on the east side of Oshkosh, on November 5.
Prosecutors are charging 28-year-old Tory Summers of Oshkosh with felony murder. They accuse Summers of driving Hill to the home to rob a man. Summers is in jail on a $500,000 bond.
Prosecutors say the victim of the robbery posted on Facebook and Snapchat about winning thousands of dollars at a casino.
The victim was shot in the arm during the attempted robbery, and he told investigators that he opened fire back at the robber. He said he was acting in self-defense.
