The head of a business group in Oshkosh is optimistic about the economy.
The Greater Oshkosh Economic Development Corporation gave an update on the topic last night. President Jason White says a lot of good things are happening in the city. He says they are looking at profitable companies, rising incomes and a great quality of life for people to move to.
He says for 2018 they want to become the one region out of Wisconsin’s 12 to stand out economically.
White says the completion of the Menominee Nations Arena and the decision by Oshkosh Corporation to stay will have positive impacts.
