A group that works to improve the regional economy has a new leader.
The Fox Cities Regional Partnership announced yesterday that Peter Thillman will join them as the vice president of economic development.
Thillman says the future of economic development is in the workforce. He says the Fox Cities has a head start over many other communities in that department. He says everyone has to work together to grow the economy.
Thillman has 25 years of experience in economics and is coming from the position of vice president of workforce and economic development at Lakeland Technical college.
He officially starts in January.
