A local lawmaker is reacting to Governor Walker’s decision to use $134 million in statewide road funding for the proposed Foxconn project.
A memo from the Legislative Fiscal Bureau says the money will go toward rebuilding roads around the planned site in southeast Wisconsin.
Democratic Representative Gordon Hintz is from Oshkosh. He says the plan makes no sense because we can’t fix our existing highways already. Hintz is the Assembly Minority Leader and he says it looks like it’s a done deal. He says the DOT is allowed to move the money around.
