A Tony Award winning musical opened last night in downtown Appleton.
“An American in Paris” is at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center through Sunday. Spokeswoman Trisha Witt says it follows two people looking for a new beginning. She says an American Soldier meets a mysterious girl in the city of Paris following World War II.
Witt says people who love dancing will especially like the show.
“An American in Paris” won four Tony’s in 2015 including Best Choreography. It was also the most awarded musical of that year.
