Firefighters were putting out a fire on the outside of the Holiday Inn in Grand Chute late Tuesday afternoon.
Crews are doing renovations on the exterior of the building, and there were flames on the side of the hotel that faces Spencer Street. Part of the exterior was charred or stained by smoke, starting at the fourth or fifth floor. It’s an eight-story building.
A construction worker was hurt, trying to put out the fire. The extent of the person’s injuries haven’t been released.
