Representative Andre Jacque and businessman Alex Renard will face off in the Republican Primary for the 1st State Senate District special election on Tue, May 15. The winner takes on Democrat Caleb Frostman in the general special election on Tue, June 12. All three are expected to run again in the regular election, with a primary in August and the general election in November.
