The DOT is starting the next phase of a project on the south side of Appleton today.
They’re working on S. Oneida Street at the intersection with Valley Road and Roeland Avenue. Spokeswoman Melissa Kok says they’re going to shift traffic so people will be able to turn from Oneida Street to Valley Road again. She says they’re making the switch this morning, and drivers won’t be able to turn onto Roeland Avenue from Oneida Street.
Roeland Avenue will be closed from Oneida Street to Wheatfield Road. One lane of Oneida Street will remain open.
Kok says the project is on schedule. She says they expect to finish the work on the intersection by the end of June.
