Researchers at UW-Madison say they answered the question of whether bats eat mosquitos.
Amy Wray is a PhD student, and the study’s author. She says until now, it’s just been assumed that they do. She says bats they studied ate 17 different types of mosquitos, including nine that are potential carriers of the West Nile Virus.
Now Wray says they want to find out how much of a bat’s diet is made up of mosquitos.
