An 86-year-old woman died in a golf cart accident in Freedom.
The Outagamie County Sheriff’s department says she was with her husband, and they were riding around their property along Highway C, around 4:15 p.m. yesterday. Deputies say they stopped to remove an obstruction.
They say the woman accidentally hit the gas, and the golf cart went down a steep embankment and it rolled over. She was flown to a hospital by ThedaStar.
