It’s expected to be a hot and humid weekend.
Mary Dorn of the Outagamie County Public Health department has some advice. She says people should stay cool by using air conditioning and fans. Dorn says it’s also important to stay hydrated. She says people should drink plenty of water and avoid alcohol, and hot and heavy meals.
Dorn says people should look out for their neighbors especially if they’re older or very young. She says they’re more susceptible to the heat.
Dorn says it’s also important to keep an eye on pets.
