Governor Walker isn’t specifically responding to President Trump’s tweets about Harley-Davidson.
The president says the motorcycle company “waived the white flag” by deciding to move some production overseas because of tariffs. Trump says if it happens, “it will be the beginning of the end.”
Walker was asked about the tweets this morning during a stop at Appleton International Airport. He repeated his stance that there shouldn’t be any tariffs at all.
Walker says he made that point to the president during a meeting at the White House last week.
