A 33-year-old Green Bay man will spend 10 years in prison for a deadly crash on the city’s east side.
Juan Zuniga entered a no contest plea in March to a charge of hit-and-run causing death.
Fifty-year-old Mike DeGrave of Green Bay was killed on I-43, just south of Mason Street, in December of 2016.
Prosecutors say Zuniga hit DeGrave’s car and drove away. They say a friend turned him in after he admitted to hitting someone.
Police say they were able to tie evidence at the scene to Zuniga. They say numbers from a license plate found at the scene were imprinted on a bumper on DeGrave’s car.
Zuniga will spend 10 years on probation after he’s released from prison.
