A 60-year-old man is charged with confronting a 13-year-old girl in a women’s bathroom at a store on Green Bay’s east side.
Prosecutors say the teen was shopping with her family in the 2000 block of E. Mason Street. They say Richard Schwantes went into the bathroom, while she was in it, and he put out his hand. They say Schwantes asked the girl, “Do you want to come with me?.”
They say he was blocking the door, so she locked herself in a stall. He’s accused of trying to reach underneath to unlock it.
Schwantes is charged with disorderly conduct and false imprisonment.
