An Appleton man will spend two years behind bars for setting up a hidden camera in a Target dressing room.
29-year-old Andrew Persen found out his fate in Outagamie County court today. He entered no contest pleas in June to five felony charges as part of a plea deal with prosecutors. They say he put the camera in the changing room at Target in the Fox River Mall in Grand Chute in April of last year.
Prosecutors say they found 66 videos from the store at Persen’s home. They say there were several with nudity and others with children changing with nothing exposed. Persen was also charged with putting cameras in the bedroom and bathroom of a friend’s house and in his own shower.
Prosecutors say the friend saw a video of herself on a pornography website and called police.
