Tim Mayer joins us to talk about the upcoming A4th Fundraiser on October 20.
A4th (Artists for the Humanities) helps sponsor the Return Recovery Program for Military Veterans.
The event starts at 6:00 pm at Irish Waters Golf Club in Freedom.
We also learn more about the Teal Pumpkin Project. The campaign was launched in 2014 by Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE). The goal of the project is to provide an alternative for kids with food allergies, as well as other children for whom candy is not an option.
All you need to participate is a teal pumpkin! You can also print out a free sign to post on your door. You can also look for teal pumpkins to purchase online and at local retail shops.
