We are continuing our LIFE in Motion Series this month, with a focus on student performance in the Fox Valley.
The data we’re referring to looks specifically on the performance gap between ethnic and economic groups. You can find that information here and here.
Kayla McNamara with the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley joins us to give insight on the STAR (Scholars on Target to Achieve Results) program. The program is making huge waves in the Fox Valley and has a presence in the Appleton Area School District, as well as the Menasha Joint School District.
Alongside Kayla, is STAR Advisory Board Member and UW-Oshkosh professor Marguerite Penick-Parks, and STAR Opportunity Coordinator Laura Jones.
The LIFE in Motion series is in partnership with United Way Fox Cities, Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce & Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region.
