In 2017, the NFL offered players a way to bring national attention to the causes they care about. Packers’ center Corey Linsley needed a little encouragement, but decided to highlight Wisconsin CASA in the “My Cause, My Cleats” campaign.
Wisconsin CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) trains volunteers to observe and support a child going through court proceedings, perhaps as a result of abuse or neglect. These children have a caring adult speaking for them in the process, and that makes a huge difference in outcomes.
Hear more about the cause, his involvement with his wife Anna, and the effect the cleats have had from Corey Linsley himself in this interview from Fresh Take.
