Brown County received almost $20 million in federal grant money for a project on the interchange between Highways 29 and VV.
It’s between the villages of Howard and Hobart.
Brown County Executive Troy Streckenbach says they applied in June and it was a group effort. He says the communities had to prove they would pay their local share.
The project includes bike lanes, roundabouts, and sidewalks. It’ll also allow fiber and broadband internet to reach into rural areas of the county.
