Green Bay police say a suspect apologized to two clerks as he stole money in armed robberies within hours of each other last night.
Police say in both cases the suspect told the clerks he was sorry.
Captain Jeremy Muraski says the suspect, described as a black man, was wearing a blue puffy winter jacket and a gray over black Milwaukee Bucks stocking cap with a black ball on top.
Muraski says the first armed robbery happened around 7:15 p.m. at a Dairy Queen on Main St. near downtown.
The second occurred at 10:45 p.m. at a Speedway gas station on East Mason St.
Muraski says the suspect said his name was Shawn.
He says the man appears to be going through an emotionally challenging time.
