Lightening hit an apartment building in Kiel causing a fire.
Fire chief Kevin Voland says the bolt hit an unoccupied unit that was under renovation. He says the entire building has extensive structural damage. Voland says crews were called to the 400 block of Clay Street around 6:15 p.m. yesterday. He says they saw flames coming from two sides of the four unit building. No one was hurt but four people had to find somewhere else to stay.
