Voters in the Kaukauna school district will decide on a referendum Tuesday for about $33 million worth of projects.
Superintendent Mark Duerwaechter says security is part of it. He says one school has an entrance where visitors need to come through the office. He says they want to revise how visitors access buildings.
The plans also include renovating the district’s elementary schools to have 4-K through fourth grade at each building. Riverview Middle School would also be remodeled.
If the referendum passes property owners would pay an extra $67 a year, per $100,000 of value.
Duerwaechter was a guest on Fresh Take with Josh Dukelow on WHBY.
