A group of state prison inmates is the first to graduate with a certificate from a program at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College.
The men are staying at a low-security facility in Oneida. They spent 14 weeks earning 14 credits in an industrial maintenance program.
Teacher Ed Kralovec says the students always asked questions and took the opportunity seriously. He says that makes him a better instructor as well because they give him a lot of feedback.
Kralovec says instructors will learn from the group to make the program better for future students.
