September is National Recovery Month.
Advocates at a local non-profit that provides residential treatment for those with alcohol or drug addiction think they are the people who need to be celebrated.
Michelle Devine Giese is the CEO of Apricity.
She says there’s over 22 million people in recovery across the United States.
She says anonymous donors are offering a $20,000 matching grant until the end of the month.
