SPAMALOT presented by Appleton North High School

Event Date: November, 01 2012

Event Times:

Tickets: $10-12

The Appleton North High School Theatre and Music Departments will present the Wisconsin non-professional premiere of the Tony Award-winning Musical, Monty Python's Spamalot. Lovingly "ripped-off" from the internationally famous comedy team's most popular motion picture, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Monty Python's Spamalot is the winner of three Tony Awards.

Telling the legendary tale of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, and their quest for the Holy Grail, Monty Python's Spamalot features, among other things, galloping coconuts, one very temperamental diva, taunting Frenchmen, a killer rabbit and one very legless knight. Though based on the 1975 cult movie, Monty Python’s Spamalot includes many new musical numbers and expanded characters as well as featuring the most popular and beloved characters and moments from the film.

Performances are November 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 9th, and 10th at 7:30 p.m. and November 4th and 11th at 1:00 p.m. Admission is $12.00. Opening night, November 1st is a special Family/Senior discount performance with $10.00 admission.

Tickets can be purchased at the North box office, Mondays and Thursdays from 3:30-5:30 p.m. or by calling 920-997-3994 or e-mailing northboxoffice@gmail.com. Information about on-line ticket purchasing can be found on the Appleton North Theatre website: www.appletonnorththeatre.com. Due to some mild mature content Spamalot is not recommended for children under 10. For further information contact Ron Parker, director at 920-832-4300 or parkerronaldc@aasd.k12.wi.us
