The Appleton West Music Department presents an evening of enjoyment with Gilbert and Sullivan’s comic opera, Pirates of Penzance!
Young Frederick, the pirate apprentice, is to be released from his indentureship with a band of tenderhearted pirates on his 21 birthday. Being an honorable man, he leaves the pirates for the shore along with his maid, Ruth, and it is not long before Frederick falls in love with the Major General’s daughter, Mabel. Realizing he is still duty bound to the pirates, Frederick must find a way around this impediment in order to wed his Mabel and chaos ensues!
