Emergency Shelter of the Fox Valley 7th Annual Benefit Gala

Event Date: November, 07 2012

Event Times: 5:30 pm

The Emergency Shelter of the Fox Valley’s 7th Annual Benefit Gala is a fundraising event for the ESFV as it heads into its 32nd year of serving the greater Fox Valley community. The night will include a gourmet meal, live, service, and silent auctions, a great live music performance, and a slideshow featuring shelter clients. Tickets are $100 per person, of which $40 is tax deductible. Tables are 10 people, $1,000 per table. It will be held at the Radisson Paper Valley Hotel, Appleton, WI beginning at 5:30 p.m. The need continues to rise for the ESFV’s services in its four core programs: Shelter, Case Management Services, Prevention, and Street Outreach. Together, these programs help those who are homeless and those who are at-risk. Funds raised at the Benefit Gala directly benefit those who are most in need of the shelter’s services. In 2011, Shelter provided 753 individuals with safe shelter, food, and other basic necessities; Case Management Services provided 538 individuals with case management services; Prevention provided 1,253 persons with assistance and 94% did not enter a shelter; and Street Outreach provided 247 persons with basic needs who were previously living in places unfit for human habitation. Please contact Jennifer Dieter, Emergency Shelter of the Fox Valley Fund Development and Volunteer Coordinator, if you have any questions at (920) 734-9603 or jenniferdieter@esfv.org
