Zayden was born with a very rare tumor on his spine (sacroccygeal teratoma) that was almost half his body weight which caused his legs to grow up towards his head. Doctors said he would never sit up, crawl, or walk. Zayden is a very outgoing, smart, and energetic 9 year old boy who is now able to walk with the assistance of AFO braces and crutches. Although he has surpassed many expectations, he still has numerous medical issues including chronic lung disease, diabetes, high blood pressure and many allergies. In addition, Zayden is now in need of a kidney transplant and many other surgeries. We are raising money to help with the extensive costs associated with Zayden’s ongoing medical care.
