Two big cuts today
OK, we've established that this is a very hot Thursday. Lets move on from that.
Today on the PhilCast, news about two celebs getting cut.
Ann Curry says goodbye to the Today show. Apparently Matt Lauer, her co-worker, didn't really like her to put it mildly. In fact, the buzz is that Matt was part of the reason Ann is leaving the show. Huh, imagine that...one air talent getting the another shoved out the door because he didn't like her. Not like that's ever happened before. I'll take Ann over Matt any day by the way.
The second bit of news about someone getting cut...
I had not known about this until SuperFan Judy sent me an email after I mentioned Rich Ratay of Pack Yak fame on the show the other day. I said I hadn't seen him yet this summer and wondered how long his hair would be by the time we started up 'The Yak' this season.
Judy's mail informed me of the shattering news. Apparently Rich had already posted photos of the event on his Facebook page. As you can see he has given up on his quest for Clay Matthews locks!
Ironic that I'm now the one between the two of us with the long hair. I continue to go for the crazy old Hollywood actor look. It's either that or the "Barry from Storage Wars" look sans the gray hair.
