Assignment Fox Cities

Mental health providers in the Fox Cities appealed to the media  to be sensitive,
compassionate, when reporting on issues of mental health and suicide.   The
ultimate goal is to prevent others from dying by suicide.
That call for a shared partnership is the subject of an Assignment Fox Cities,
posted on our website, whby.com.
Kathleen Fuchs and Sue Jungen call upon the media to not sensationalize stories
of suicide and mental illness, and to inform those suffering mental distress that there's
an abundance of help for those who need it.
Surgeon General Regina Benjamin says "no matter where we live or what we do
every day,  each of us has a role in preventing suicide."
