Former Pirate Comes Back to Haunt old Team
Aramis Ramirez began his career with the Pittsburgh Pirates, Tuesday night he came back to deal his former team a big loss as the Pirates continue their chase for a playoff berth. Ramirez was 4-5 with a home run and 4 RBI's as the Brewers defeated the Pirates 7-6. The Brewers jumped out to a 5-0 lead before the Pirates stormed back. Caleb Gindl had the go ahead sac fly in the 8th to give the Brewers the 7-6 lead. Rob Wooten earned the win while Jim Henderson pitched a scoreless 9th for his 22nd save. The Brewers and Pirates meet up once again Wednesday night in Pittsburgh. You can hear the game on News Talk 1150 WHBY with the pregame show at 5:30 and first pitch is at 6:05pm.
