Gallardo and Brewers Shut Out the Pirates!
The Milwaukee Brewers are making life rough for Central Division teams ahead of them in the standings. The Brewers just took two of three from the Reds in Cincinnati and now they have done the same to the Pittsburgh Pirates. Yovani Gallardo pitched seven scoreless innings, Aramis Ramirez hit a Home Run and Scooter Gennett had three hits as the Brewers knocked off the Pirates 4-0 Thursday night in Pittsburgh. With the loss, Pittsburgh now is one game behind the St. Louis Cardinals in the Central Division. After their successful road trip, the Brewers return home Friday night to host the Angels. You can hear the game on News Talk 1150-WHBY with the pre-game show getting under way at 6:35pm and first pitch is at 7:10pm. Wily Perlata gets the start for the Crew.
