Businesses moving into Richmond Terrace

The commercial portion of the Richmond Terrace development is starting to fill up.

That part of the downtown Appleton building sat vacant for nine years, until the first tenant moved in, last summer. Another business opened in November.

440 North LLC owns that portion of Richmond Terrace, and manager Dave Allen says several more companies plan to relocate there during the first half of the year. He says businesses became interested in the property after the New York-based company that owned the building lowered its price.

Allen says there is still about 21,000 square feet of commercial space available.
