Walker touts manufacturing tools in L.C.

Governor Walker was in Little Chute this morning to see how state tax credits helped a company grow.

Resource One is a paper converter, and the firm added about 20 jobs last year. There are plans to add more, by the summer. Walker says he'll announce more manufacturing-related proposals in a couple of weeks.

Resource One CEO David Brantingham says the company is in the process of buying a $3-million machine that will make digital printing paper. He says it will be used in some recognizable products.

He says the new machine will increase the company's productivity by about 30 percent and they'll add up to 10 workers.
