L.C. board approves Doyle Park shelter

Little Chute's village board approved a plan last night to build a new shelter in Doyle Park.

Village administrator James Fenlon says the $280,000 project will feature decorative concrete pillars and plenty of room for special events, like The Great Wisconsin Cheese Festival and Rock Cancer.

Fenlon says the cheese festival board donated more than $130,000 for the project.

He says if the weather cooperates, the new shelter could be completed by Memorial Day.
