Obama wants to expand job training

President Obama made a stop in Wisconsin this morning to talk about jobs and the economy.

He toured a General Electric manufacturing plant in Waukesha.

He says the middle class is still taking it on the chin, even though the economy is improving, and corporate profits are up. He says too many people are working harder than ever to get ahead, and others continue to look for a job.

The president says he wants to expand job training programs, so manufacturers can find workers. He says they need to look across the country, to see what programs are working.

He says the General Electric plant has apprenticeship programs for high school students and adults.
