Walker signs mental health bills

Governor Walker was in Green Bay this afternoon, to sign some bills meant to improve access to mental health care.

One of them creates a hotline that child and teen psychiatrists can use, for consultations. Another sets up teams to serve people going through a mental health crisis. Walker says he hopes the changes will lead people to seek help, if they haven't in the past. He also wants to lessen the stigma of getting help for a mental health issue.

Walker says he plans to push for more mental health initiatives in the future.
